Thomas Justin Ihde, 20, and Chelsea Lynn Marie Ihde, 18, both of Gresham, Neb.

Thomas Justin Ihde, age 20, and Chelsea Lynn Marie Ihde, age 18, both of Gresham, Neb. died Sunday, July 26, 2009, following a vehicle accident. Combined funeral services were held Friday, July 31, 2009, at the First United Methodist Church in York with the Reverends Art Phillips and Lowell Meyers officiating. Burial was in Seward Cemetery.

    Thomas was born June 16, 1989, in Seward, and Chelsea was born Nov. 12, 1990, in Cody, Wyo., to Laurie Cole of York, Neb., and Herb Ihde of Gresham. Thomas graduated from Centennial High School in Utica, Neb., in 2007 and worked at Wendy’s in York. He loved football, video games, and enjoyed being with his friends.

    Chelsea graduated from Centennial High School in Utica in 2009 and worked at Wendy’s in York. She enjoyed reading, loved animals, and had planned to become a nurse.

    Preceding them in death were their grandfather, Ron Cole and cousin, Michael Cole. They are survived by their mother Laurie Cole of York; father Herb Ihde of Greshem; brother, Mathew Ihde of Gresham; cousin Zachary Cole of Lincoln; grandparents Leora (Cole) and Doug Fort of Glenwood; Roger and Shirley Ihde of Gresham; great-grandmothers, Argie Cole of Henderson; Mildred Meyers of Garland, Neb.; Della Fort of Round Lake Beach, Ill.; and Eleanor (Earl) Stephens of Seward. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

    A fund has been established at TierOne Bank in Glenwood.
