Tallman Named Interim County Recorder

The Mills County Board of Supervisors has appointed Lisa Tallman as  interim county recorder, replacing Vicki McClintic who stepped down from the position in late June.

McClintic, a Republican, didn’t seek re-election in the June primary and retired before the completion of her four-year term, which expires in December.

Tallman, who previously served as assistant county recorder, was unchallenged for the recorder’s position in the GOP primary. No Democratic candidates were on the primary ballot so Tallman is unlikely to face opposition in the Nov. 4 general election.
