Shirley Winquist, 81, Denison

    Shirley Winquist, age 81, of Denison, died Friday, July 31, 2009, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison. Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Denison, with burial at the Morgan Cemetery in Schleswig.

    Survivors include two sons, Stanley and wife Angie of Glenwood; Sydney and wife Beth of Schleswig; one daughter, Lynell Sadeghi and husband Bahram of Mission, Kan.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marilyn Evers of Rancho Bernardo, Calif.; Evelyn Rank of Clarinda; Clarion Holdsworth of Denison; other relatives and friends.

     The Huebner Funeral Home in Denison was in charge of arrangements.
