Rams sixth at LC cross country invite

Ross Van Slyke and Cuentin Gray both placed in the top 20 as the Glenwood boys cross country team finished sixth as a team at the Council Bluffs Lewis Central Cross Country Invite Saturday at Iowa Western Community College.

The Rams’ finished with 144 team points. Harlan was the team champion with four runners among the top 14 place winners and 53 team points.

Van Slyke placed 16th for Glenwood with a time of 18:04. Gray was right behind with a time of 18:18 to place 18th.

Other place winners for Glenwood were Victor Salerno in 37th place, Giles Allen in 40th, Jackson Hein in 41st, William Ingles in 42nd and Conrad Millar in 49th.
