Carol Elizabeth Condon, 88, of Tabor, Iowa formerly of Glenwood passed on July 15, 2026 at Bellevue Medical Center. She was born on August 26, 1937 in Lake City, Iowa to Thomas William and Erna Wilhelmina (Reaman) Clarkin. Carol was raised in Lake City and graduated with honors from Lake City High School in 1956.

She was united in marriage to Harlan Albert Condon on September 11, 1965. To this union, two daughters were born, Cyndi and Julie. Harlan served his country in the Air Force which took the family to many places.

Carol was employed at Hillside Manor as an administrative assistant where she always greeted everyone with a smile. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenwood.

Preceding Carol in passing were her parents, her brother Edward Clarkin and his wife Mary. Survivors include her husband Harlan, her daughters Cyndi Spitzmiller of Kansas City, Missouri, Julie (Scott) McMullen of Glenwood, Iowa, grandchildren, Delaney McMullen, Jack McMullen, Grace Spitzmiller (fiancé Mike Garrison), Ben Spitzmiller, sister Marvel (Bob) Richards, extended family and friends.

Surrounded by her loving family and the love of her life Harlan, she left this world knowing she was deeply loved. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, resilience, loyalty, and compassion. Though small in stature, she was a mighty warrior with a courageous spirit, a heart full of love, and just the right amount of sass that made her uniquely unforgettable. She truly left the world a better place through the lives she touched and the love she shared. As she entered her eternal home, her family takes comfort in the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Graveside Service will be Saturday July 25, 2026 at 10 a.m. in the Tabor Cemetery
