Glenwood Summer Food Service Menu 6.17.15

    The Glenwood Community School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children 18 and under without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.  
    Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:  
    Through Aug. 7, 2015, Monday through Friday, meals will be served at:
    - Glenwood Middle School, 400 Sivers Road, from 8 - 9 a.m. for breakfast and 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for lunch.
    - Kid’s Place Daycare on the Glenwood Resource Center campus, from 7:45 - 8:30 a.m. for breakfast and 11 - 11:45 a.m. for lunch. There is limited seating available at this location.

    There are no income requirements or registration. Any child 18 and under may come to eat for free. The program will be closed July 1, 2 and 3.

    Friday – Cereal and crackers
    Monday - Cereal and crackers
    Tuesday – Cereal and muffin
    Wednesday – Long John and fruit

Lunch
(includes milk)
    Thursday – Hot dog on a bun, baked beans, chilled peaches, chocolate grahams.
    Friday – Breaded cheese sticks, marinara cup, broccoli salad, chilled applesauce, fruit slushy.
    Monday – Chicken strip wrap, pickle spear, green beans, chilled pears.
    Tuesday – Omelet and sausage, pancakes and syrup, hashbrown, strawberries and blueberries.
    Wednesday – Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, melon mix, bread and butter.
