Glenwood Police Reports 11/19/14

Incidents
    Nov. 5 – Dakota Essink of Glenwood reported a burglary.
    Nov. 8 – Betti Martin of Glenwood reported a criminal mischief.
    Nov. 9 – Eddy’s of Glenwood reported a theft.
    Nov. 10 – Mike Collins of Glenwood reported a theft.
    Nov. 26 – Mills County Storehouse reported a theft.

Accidents
    Nov. 7 – A legally parked vehicle owned by Casey Lloyd was struck by an unknown vehicle on Sharp Street and the driver of that vehicle then drove off. No injuries were reported.
    Nov. 8 – A vehicle driven by Caleb Wear of Silver City was northbound on 10th Street when the driver lost control of the vehicle, struck a street sign and then left the scene without reporting the incident. The driver was cited for failure to maintain control of his vehicle.
    Nov. 8 – A vehicle driven by Taylor Hummel of Glenwood struck a legally parked vehicle owned by Velma Young in the parking lot of the Village Glen Apartments. Hummel left the scene without reporting the accident.
    Nov. 10 – A vehicle driven by Debra DeYoung of Glenwood failed to yield at a stop sign at First and Locust Streets and was struck by a second vehicle driven by Christine Baker of Glenwood.
    Nov. 11 – A vehicle driven by Adam Recker of Glenwood was southbound on North Locust Street when the driver lost control due to icy road conditions, left the road and struck a street sign. No injuries were reported.
    Nov. 11 – A vehicle driven by Cynthia Book of Glenwood was stopped at a stop sign at the exit of Glenwood Community High School when a second vehicle driven by Kailey Williamson of Mineola slid, due to icy road conditions, into Book’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.

    Nov. 16 – A vehicle driven by Andrew Wilson of Glenwood was southbound on Locust Street when the driver lost control of the vehicle due to icy road conditions and struck a light pole and a traffic signal pole. No injuries were reported.
    Nov. 16 – A vehicle driven by Benjamin Coffey of Glenwood was unable to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of First and Locust streets due to weather conditions, causing it to hit a second vehicle driven by Mistie Arellano of Glenwood. No injuries were reported.
    Nov. 15 – A vehicle driven by Samantha Shatava of Glenwood was eastbound on Coolidge Street and failed to stop at a stop sign causing it to slide into a second vehicle driven by Daniel Hardcastle of Glenwood. No injuries were reported.
