Glenwood boys win in OT
The Glenwood boys soccer team won its third straight match and improved to 8-3 on the season with a 1-0 overtime win over Kuemper Catholic on Saturday.
The game was scoreless through the end of regulation play before heading into extra time. With just 10 players on the field, Glenwood attacked the Knights and forced a hand ball in the box. Tyler Jensen nailed the penalty kick for the game-winner.
Nick Frazee recorded his second straight shutout and fourth of the season after stopping six shots.

Creston 0
Glenwood controlled the first half of play with 19 shots to cruise to a 3-0 victory over Creston on Thursday.
The Rams’ aggressive play pinned Creston in their defensive third and the Panthers never seemed to recover.
Glenwood got first half goals from Tyler Jensen and Brandon Bichel. Bichel’s goal came on a cross from the left side of the field and swooped in from 25 yards out.
In the second half, Glenwood had 13 shots on goal and Logan McCorkle added a goal.
