Five Rams named to Hawk-10 soccer first team

Three Glenwood girls and two boys have been named to the first team on the All-Hawkeye 10 Conference soccer teams released last week.

The Rams’ Nikki Schuppan, Kari Schuppan and Katelyn Malcom were tabbed first team honors on the girls’ squad while Nacho Vadillo and Andy Van Slyke were selected on the boys’ side.

Nikki Schuppan, a junior midfielder, led the Rams with 13 goals and was second on the team with five assists this season. Malcom and Kari Schuppan were tabbed as midfielders. Malcom led the Rams with seven assists and picked up five goals while Kari Schuppan was second with 10 goals.
