ENGAGEMENT - Heather Hurst/Bryan Diekmann

Commander and Mrs. Larry C. Hurst of Glenwood have announced the engagement of their daughter, Heather Jean Noel, to Bryan David Diekmann, son of Kelly Diekmann of Cheney, Neb.

The bride to be is a 2004 graduate from Glenwood Community Schools and graduated from Peru State College (Neb.) in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary and early childhood education. She is a junior kindergarten teacher with the Shenandoah Community School District.

Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of Norris High School in Firth, Neb. He graduated from Peru State College in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in teaching and a coaching endorsement. He’s a physical education instructor and assistant football and girls basketball coach with Shenandoah Community Schools.

A June 27, 2009, wedding is planned at Grace United Methodist Church in Glenwood.
