Buelah Jean (Wells) Pierson, 81, of Emerson, passed away June 1, 2011, at her home in Emerson. Visitation was held Sunday, June 5, 2011, at the Mansfield-Hertz Funeral Home in Malvern. Interment in the Emerson Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Emerson Public Library.
Buelah is survived by her sons, Carlos Pierson and wife Cindy of Hastings; Steve Pierson of Emerson; and Douglas Pierson and wife Rita of Cherokee; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother Melvin Wells of Holton, Kan.
