Body Found In Mo. River Still Unidentified

As of Tuesday, authorities had yet to identify the decomposed body of a man found in the Missouri River south of the Plattsmouth Bridge in western Mills County.
A camper found the body Wednesday, July 2, around 4:45 p.m. The body had some clothing and identifying markings, including tattoos. An autopsy was performed by the Douglas County (Neb.) Medical Examiner’s Office.
Mills County Sheriff Eugene Goos said the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is assisting in the investigation.
