Wendell Guaine McClain, 81, of Red Oak, died July 20, 2012 at Tabor Manor. Graveside funeral services were held Thursday, July 26, 2012, at the Wheeler Grove Cemetery near Carson. A memorial fund has been established. Loess Hills Funeral Home of Carson was in charge of arrangements.
Guaine was born April 2, 1931, on the family farm near Henderson to Joy Delpha (Perdue) and Forrest Jay McClain. He is survived by his sons, Rick McClain of Villisca; Gary McClain of Pineville, Mo., Dannie McClain of Elliott; and David McClain of Essex; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
