Steve Miller Band (Shellabration 2016)

The Steve Miller Band will headline Shellabration 2016 on Thursday, June 30th at Rogers Sports Complex, Fort Dodge. This year's event will serve as the kickoff party for the long Fourth of July Weekend. Adding to the excitement and buildup, the Steve Miller Band is being inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in April. In the '70s, Miller crafted a brand of pure pop that was polished, exciting, irresistible and that dominated radio in a way few artists have ever managed. Hit followed hit in what seemed like an endless flow: "The Joker", "Living in the USA", "Take The Money and Run", "Rock'n Me", "Fly Like an Eagle", "Jet Airliner" and "Jungle Love", among them. To this day, those songs are instantly recognizable when they come on the radio, and impossible not to sing along with. Their hooks are the very definition of indelible. Opening acts for the Steve Miller Band will be announced the week of April 11th.The schedule for the event is as follows...6:00PM- Gates Open6:45-7:30PM- Opening Act #1 (TBA)8:00-8:45PM- Opening Act #2 (TBA)9:20PM- Steve Miller Band Tickets for Shellabration 2016 go on sale at midnight, Saturday, April 16th. They are $38.00 if purchased on or before Sunday, June 19th increasing to $45.00 on Monday, June 20th. Kids 12 and under are admitted free if accompanied by an adult. Shellabration is a general admission, festival-style (bring your own chair) seating event. Aisles and rows are painted in the grass to add to attendee comfort and movement. Outside food and beverages (including coolers) are not allowed in the venue. There is a wide array of food, soft drinks and adult beverages available for purchase. ATM's are also located in venue.
