School Board Vote Is In

Incumbent Dave Warren and newcomers Henry Clark and Dave Blum have been elected to seats on the Glenwood Board of Education.

Warren, Clark and Blum were the top three vote-getters in Tuesday’s school board election, garnering 809, 697 and 526 votes respectively. Write-in candidate Cheryll Ross finished in fourth place, presumably receiving nearly all of the 382 write-in votes that were cast. Tim Harms received 313 votes, followed by Rex A. Ruth with 302, incumbent Bill Agan with 252 and Edward Lund with 212.

Slightly more than 16 percent of the school district’s 7,672 registered voters participated in Tuesday’s election.
