Roger Dean Durick, 90, Glenwwod

    Sgt. Major Roger Dean Durick, Ret., 90 of Glenwood, died July 10, 2012, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. Private services with military honors will be held at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif. Memorials may be sent to the family. Loess Hills Funeral Home of Glenwood assisted the family with arrangements.
    He was born March 4, 1922, in Council Bluffs to Hazel (Hoyt) and Samuel Durick.
    He is survived by wife Jean Durick of Glenwood; daughters, Cheryl Manning of Washington State; Penny Walther of Marysville, Wash.; and Becky Saad of San Diego, Calif.; sons, Sam Durick of Fallbrook, Calif., and Mike Durick of Tucson, Ariz.; stepdaughter Carolyn Gann of Bishop, Calif.; and many grandchildren.
