Robin Hodges, 41, Summersville, Mo.

July 18, 1969 - May 29, 2011

    Robin Elizabeth Hodges, 41, of Summersville, Mo., passed away May 29, 2011, in Eminence, Mo.  Funeral services were held Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. Pastor Ben Quinlan officiated. Interment was in the St. John’s Cemetery in Nehawka, Neb. Memorials may be directed to the family.
    Robin was born in Nebraska City, Neb., July 18, 1969, to Robert C. Hodges and Elizabeth L. Ahrens Lidgett. She was raised in Glenwood, where she attended Glenwood High School. In 1983 her family moved to Silver City on a farm where Galen Lidgett became her step-father and helped Elizabeth raise Robin and her sister as his own.
    Robin was blessed with three children whom she loved very much, Robert, Jessica and Jennifer. Robin worked in the health care industry, where she did home health care for the elderly. She also worked at Bluffs Run Casino and Hillside Manor, where she would take home patients and took them on picnics. When her grandparents became ill, Robin would stay with them and do everything she could. Robin was a past resident of Silver City, where she raised her children until moving to the Summerville area.
    Robin was very kind and loved taking care of anyone and anything. She loved animals and would take any animal in; she loved her eight dogs and many cats. She was a blue jean and T-shirt person who enjoyed nature and camping. She really enjoyed her granddaughter, Bryleigh, who was her pride and joy.
    Robin was preceded in death by her step-father, Galen Lidgett; grandparents, John and Bonnie Ahrens and uncle, Bill Jensen. She leaves to mourn her passing, children, Robert Hodges; Jessica Dresher and fiancé, Eric Brawley; and Jennifer Dresher all of the Summersville area; her beloved granddaughter, Bryleigh Brawley of Summersville; mother, Elizabeth Lidgett; sister, Tonia Sargisian and husband Autm also of SummersviIle; aunt, Charlotte Jensen of Glenwood; uncle, John and wife Bea Ahrens of Hastings and a host of cousins in Iowa and Nebraska.
