Robert Howard Poort, age 82, of Malvern, died Aug. 29, 2010, at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebr. Memorial services will be held today, Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, at 2 p.m., at Mansfield-Hertz Funeral Home in Malvern with private interment in the Malvern Cemetery.
Mr. Poort is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joann Poort of Malvern; children, Kathy Clausen and husband Merle of Mesa, Ariz.; Roger Poort and wife Mary of Malvern; Lisa Dolezal and husband Steve of Franklin, Ten.; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
A memorial fund has been established.
