Rams sweep at Omaha South triangular

    The Glenwood volleyball team got its first win of the season last Thursday at the Omaha South Triangular.
    The Rams (2-1 overall, 0-1 in the Hawkeye 10 Conference) downed Omaha Roncalli 25-12, 24-26, 25-17 in match one.
    Emily Blum led Glenwood with six kills against the Crimson Pride. Grace Newman was 19-of-20 serving with four aces, and McKenna Henze had 18 assists and was 9-of-9 on the serving line.
    The Rams defeated the host Packers 30-32, 25-9, 25-10
    Newman had seven kills and nine aces in the capper. Rachel DeYoung had five kills, two blocks and was 14-of-15 serving with three aces. Lexi Fisher had five kills and was 9-of-9 serving with and ace.
    Blum added five kills and Henze had 11 assists.
