Rams sixth at Harlan Invite
The Glenwood boys cross country team got a 15th place finish from Cuentin Gray as the Rams finished sixth as a team in the Harlan Cross Country Invitational Saturday.
The Rams finished with 126 team points.
The host Cyclones were the team champion with 46 points. Harlan placed five runners in the top 16. Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson’s Eldon Warner was the individual champion with a time of 16:48.
Gray ran an 18:25 for 15th place.
Also placing for Glenwood was Ross Van Slyke (21st), Giles Allan (23rd), Victor Salerno (33rd), William Ingles (34th), Conrad Millar (52nd) and Jackson Hein (68th).

second at Tri-Center
The Glenwood boys placed second at the Tri-Center Cross Country Invitational last Tuesday in Neola.
The host Tigers placed two runners in the top five place winners to finish with 53 points to hold on to the team title. The Rams’ got a sixth place finish from Cuentin Gray and three others runners in the top 20 to finish with 70 teams points.
Gray’s time of 19:28 was just eight seconds out of fourth place.
Giles Allan was 15th for Glenwood in 20:20, followed closely by Ross Van Slyke in 17th (20:28) and Victor Salerno in 18th place (20:31).
Other place winners for Glenwood were Conrad Millar (23rd), William Ingles (29th) and Jackson Hein (33rd).
The Southwest Iowa team, made up of Fremont-Mills and Sydney runners, placed 10th at the meet with 300 team points. Logan Gaylord was the Warriors’ top place winner in 60th place with a time of 23:17.
