Pheba B. Brown, 94, Hastings

Pheba Beulah (Hill) Brown, 94, of Hastings, passed away April 24, 2012, at Glen Haven Home in Glenwood. Graveside services were held Friday, April 27, 2012, at the Hastings Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hastings United Methodist Church. Loess Hills Funeral Home (formerly Mansfield-Hertz) of Malvern was in charge of arrangements.
    Pheba was born May 31, 1917, in Unionville, Mo., to Ida Elizabeth (Lynch) Higgs and Charles E. Hill.
    She is survived by children, John Brown of Malvern; Lottie Vanderwal of Allen, Texas; and Henry Schwarz of Salem, Ore.; stepchildren, Ruby Walden of St. Charles, Mo.; and Gerald Brown of Kansas City; 15 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild on the way.
