WEDDING - Samantha Sell/Tanner Winter
Samantha Renee Sell and Tanner Cole Winter were united in marriage on Friday, June 26, 2009, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mineola. Pastor Ray Perryman, from the Cowboy Church in Lubbock, Texas officiated the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, refreshments and a dance reception was held at Ameristar Casino and Hotel.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Sell, and Shannon Sell of Glenwood. Grandparents of the bride are Colleen Pierce of Malvern, the late Mr. and Mrs. Duane Sell of Glenwood and Norman Pierce of Malvern.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Winter of Lubbock, Texas. Grandparents of the Groom are Sue Winter of Idalou, Texas, Maxine Minor of Oklahoma City, Okla., and the late Buddy Winter of Idalou, Texas.
The matron of honor was Shari Sell-Bakker of Dike, and the maid of honor was Sara Sell of Glenwood, both sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jamey Albrecht of Crawfordsville, Ind., Abby Jones of Des Moines and Ashley Riker of Wylie, Texas, sister-in-law to the bride. The flower girl was Kiera Wolfe, cousin of the bride.
Ushers of the ceremony were Jarrod Bakker, Donald Sunday, Kalen Poe, and Darlin Wiley.
The best men were brothers of the groom, Tyler Winter and Will Winter. Groomsmen were Kade Bessent of Lubbock, Texas, Scott Shelby of Bellville, Texas, and Beau Skinner of College Station, Texas. The ring bears were Brock and Broady Riker, nephews of the groom.
The bride is a graduate student at Texas A&M University working on her Master of Education in Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication. She is currently employed by the Texas A&M University Career Center. The groom is also working on graduate work at Texas A&M University pursuing a Master of Agriculture in Beef Cattle Production.
After a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in College Station.
