Dixie McCurdy of Glenwood and Derek Teten have announced their engagement and approaching wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Kristie Perry of Council Bluffs and Don and Diane McCurdy of Glenwood. She’s a 2000 graduate of Glenwood Community High School and employed as an activities assistant at Glen Haven nursing home.
Her fiance is the son of Mark and Patsy Finnell of Osage Beach, Mo., and Dave Teten of Talmage, Neb. He’s a 2006 graduate of Iowa Western Community College where he earned a degree in building trades. He’s employed at CMET.
An April 25, 2009, wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Glenwood.
