Iola M. Homan, 93, Pacific Junction

Iola Marie Homan, 93, of Pacific Junction, passed away Oct. 30, 2011, at her home in Pacific Junction. Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, from 5 - 7 p.m. at Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Peterson Mortuary. Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bluebirds Across Nebraska P.O. Box 67157 Lincoln, NE 68506-7157.
    Iola was born Feb. 26, 1918, in Hastings to Archer and Mary Ethel (McReynolds) Phillips. She is survived by her son, Randy Foster of Oakland; daughters, Melva Andersen of Sidney; Sheri Tibbles of Oakland; Lina Warren of Council Bluffs; Lorna Letak of Mauldin, S.C.; 19 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren; brother, Archie Phillips; and sisters, Charlotte Atchison and Doris Phillips.
