Three Republican Candidates On Primary Ballot For One Board Of Supervisors Seat

Three Republican Party candidates seeking a seat on the Mills County Board Of Supervisors have filed the necessary paperwork to be on the ballot for the June 2 primary election.
One seat on the board of supervisors, currently occupied by Richard Crouch, is up for election in 2026. Crouch, who is completing his sixth four-year term on the board, is not seeking re-election.The three Republican candidates are Peter Bencker, David Farmer and Sandi Winton.
Three additional county courthouse positions are up for election in 2026 - county treasurer, recorder and attorney. Incumbents Melissa Loghry (treasurer), Lori Murphy (recorder) and DeShawne Bird-Sell (attorney) are the lone Republican candidates for those posts.
There will be no Democratic Party candidates for any of the county offices on the primary ballot.
In Fremont County, four Republican candidates will be on the ballot for two positions on the board of supervisors. Incumbents Clint Blackburn and Dustin Sheldon are being challenged by Chris Clark and Sterling Fichter. Tarah Berry and Alise Snyder will be on the Republican Party ballot for county recorder and county treasurer, respectively. There are no Republican candidates for Fremont County Attorney.
Fremont County Democrats will have no candidates for county office on their primary election ballot.
Election winners advancing from the June 2 primary will be a candidate for their party on the November general election ballot.
