Mills County Sheriff Reports 1/7/15

Incidents
    Dec. 31 – Valeria Hartel of Malvern reported a theft.
    Jan. 1 – Shirley Burlingame of Blair, Neb. reported a theft.
    Jan. 2 – Wilfred Shehan of Malvern reported an identity theft.
    Jan. 3 – Keith Combs of Pacific Junction reported a theft.

Accidents
    Dec. 22 – A vehicle driven by Delores Jones of Malvern was traveling westbound on Highway 34 when the driver attempted to merge into the left lane and struck a second vehicle driven by William Arnold of Red Oak. No injuries were reported.
    Dec. 23 – A vehicle driven by Sherry Wallace of Glenwood was slowing to make a right turn off of Highway 275 when her vehicle was rear-ended by a second vehicle driven by Emmy Hayden of Sidney. No injuries were reported.
    Dec. 27 – A vehicle driven by Jennifer Wake of Glenwood was northbound on Ingrum Avenue when the driver lost control due to icy road conditions and rolled into the southbound lane. The driver was transported to Jennie Edmundson Hospital. Her status was not known at press time.
    Dec. 29 – A vehicle driven by Daniel Robbins of Council Bluffs was eastbound on Eastman Road when the vehicle slid due to icy road conditions, entered the south ditch and struck a tree. The driver was transported to Jennie Edmundson Hospital. His status was not known at press time.
    Dec. 29 – A vehicle driven by Morgan Lambert of Glenwood was southbound on Glover Road when the driver lost control due to icy road conditions and struck a guardrail. No injuries were recorded.
    Dec. 30 – A vehicle driven by Jake Clark of Glenwood was westbound on Lambert Avenue when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled into the south ditch due to icy road conditions. No injuries were reported.
    Dec. 30 – A vehicle driven by Bryan Fouts of Red Oak was eastbound on Highway 34 when the vehicle struck a deer in the road. No injuries were reported.
    Dec. 31 – A vehicle driven by William Carroll of Nebraska City, Neb., was stopped at a stop sign on the Interstate 29 off ramp, preparing to make a right turn onto Lambert Ave., when a semi-truck struck the rear of his vehicle, then left the scene. No injuries were reported.
