Accidents
    July 7 – A vehicle driven by Nancy Ruwe of Malvern was westbound on 221st St., southeast of Pacific Juntion, when she lost control of the vehicle, veered onto the  right shoulder, over-corrected and crossed the center line into the eastbound lane. The vehicle then went off the roadway to the right, where it struck a tree. The driver was transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center by Pacific Junction Rescue.
