    May 14 – Karen Gonzalez of Glenwood reported a burglary.
    May 14 – Chrissy Butler of Silver City reported a theft.

Accidents
    May 11 – A vehicle driven by Brandon Reed of Council Bluffs was eastbound on Highway 34 when the vehicle crossed the centerline and struck the semi-trailer driven by Leonard Eakes of Lamoni. Reed’s vehicle then continued off the road, losing both left side tires before coming to rest in the south ditch. A passenger in Reed’s vehicle was transported to Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs but her status was not known at press time.
    May 15 – A vehicle driven by Thomas Howell of Plattsmouth was northbound on 190th Street when the driver swerved to avoid a deer in the road and went into a ditch. The driver was transported to Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs but his status was not known at press time.
