Knights second at Tiger Relays
The Fremont-Mills boys track team won five gold medals to earn second place in the team standings at the Griswold Tiger Relays Thursday.
The Knights finished with 131 team points to the team champion Logan-Magnolia’s 153 points.
Parker Powers had a strong all-around showing for the Knights, winning gold in the high jump and the 110-meter high hurdles in addition to placing second in the long jump and running a leg on the Knights’ gold medal winning 4x100-meter relay.
Also winning gold for the Knights was Spencer Phillips in the shot put and the discus.

Knights crowned
at Bob Weber Relays
The Fremont-Mills track team took top honors at the Bob Weber Relays at Nishnabotna High School last Tuesday.
The Knights racked up 152 team points to the runner up Blue Devils’ 110 points to earn the team title. East Mills was third with 105 team points.
Fremont-Mills placed in the top three in 14 events, winning gold in three. The Knights’ Mackenzy Lang (3,200-meter run) and their shuttle hurdle and 4x100-meter relay teams pocketed gold medals.
East Mills’ Sam Rew (high jump) and it 4x200-meter relay team won gold medals.
