Knights rout Villisca, 69-14
The Fremont-Mills football team bolted out to a 48-0 first quarter lead en route to a 69-14 victory over Villisca on Homecoming night in Tabor on Friday.
The Knights (5-0 overall, 3-0 in District 8) rolled up 335 total yards of offense on the night. The Knight junior varsity played the entire second half.
Quarterback A.J. Scarborough completed 4-of-5 passes for 72 yards and two touchdowns. He added 76 yards rushing and another score.
Nate Meier added 71 yards rushing on six carries, including three touchdowns. Meier added a 29-yard touchdown reception.
Austin Hansen pitched on special teams with a 76-yard punt return for a touchdown.
On defense, Nick Williams picked off two passes and had six tackles.
The Knights hit the road on Friday to play at 4-1 Stanton. Kick off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
