Knights get comeback win
Fremont-Mills out-scored Heartland Christian 21-13 in the fourth quarter for a 56-50 come-from-behind victory on Friday.
The Eagles held a 37-35 heading into the final frame before the Knights’ comeback.
Dakota Thomas scored 17 points and Aaron Flueren 13 to lead the Knights.
Cody Cunard’s 17 points led Heartland Christian.

Essex 32
The Fremont-Mills boys basketball team sprinted out to a 34-15 halftime lead and cruised to a 58-32 win over Essex last Tuesday.
The Knights (8-7 overall, 6-3 in the Corner Conference) out-scored the Trojans 20-6 in a crucial second-quarter run.
Nick Williams and Zach Dailey each scored eight points a piece to lead Essex.

Fremont-Mills 54, OT
Fremont-Mills’ Jace Kemp hit a three-pointer with :1.3 to send the game into overtime but Clarinda out-scored the Knights 12-5 in the extra frame in a 61-54 non-conference victory last Monday.
The Knights trailed 40-34 heading into the fourth quarter before rallying.
Dakota Thomas led the Knights with a game-high 23 points and nine rebounds.
Aaron Flueren added 12 points and Kemp nine.
Dakota Woods led Clarinda with 16 points.
