Josephine Seva Fink, age 78, of Glenwood

    Josephine Seva Fink, age 78, of Glenwood, formerly of Texas, died on Sept. 2, 2009, at the Hospice With Heart in Glenwood. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at Peterson Mortuary, in Glenwood. Pastor Darrell Hopp officiated. Interment was in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Council Bluffs.

    She was born Jan. 29, 1931, in Lexington, Mo., to Edward and Seva (Blixt) Mark.  She married Derald Clinton Fink on Aug. 27, 1977, in Raymondville, Texas. The couple enjoyed 32 years of marriage together. Mrs. Fink enjoyed being a homemaker and dearly loved her family.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; infant daughter, Carol Elizabeth; sister, Gertrude and twin brother, Joseph. She is survived by her husband Derald Fink of Glenwood; children, Donald Chowning, Jr. of Strong City, Kan.; Keith Chowning of Greenville, S.C.; Pamela Castillo of Pharr, Texas; Roberta Hayes of Omaha; Mary Chowning of Council Bluffs; Ann Kaderka of Lago Vista, Texas; Derald Michael Fink of Glenwood; Jeffrey Allen Fink of Silver City; 27 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; extended relatives and a host of friends.
