Glenwood summer food program 6/26/13

Glenwood Schools Summer Food Service Program
    The Summer Food Service Program is sponsored by the Glenwood Community School District and is free to all children ages 18 and under. The program will run through Aug. 7 at the following locations and times:
    Glenwood Middle School, 400 Sivers Road. Breakfast is served 8 - 9 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
    Kid’s Place Daycare, 103 Central, first floor at the Glenwood Resource Center campus. Breakfast is served 8 - 9 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. – noon. Limited seating is available.
    An adult breakfast may be purchased at a cost of $2, and an adult lunch may be purchased at a cost of $3.25. Extra milk may be purchased for $.35 each. Milk and 100% fruit juice are served with every breakfast.

    Fabulous Food, Facts, and Fun! Want more free fun this summer? Come and eat your lunch, then join us to make crafts, play games, and taste yummy treats from the garden! These activities are sponsored by Glenwood’s Giving Garden on these dates: June 26 and July 10 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

    Friday – Breakfast Choice Bar
    Monday - Cereal & Crackers
    Tuesday – Pancake on a Stick
    Wednesday – Donut & Orange Wedges

Lunch
    Thursday – Mini Corn Dogs, Baked French Fries, Orange Wedges, Sherbet Cup, Milk.
    Friday – Pizza, Lettuce Salad, Watermelon, Breadstick, Marinara Cup, Milk.
    Monday - Cheeseburger on a Bun, Baked French Fries, Chilled Peaches, Gogurt, Milk.
    Tuesday - Chicken Tenders Wrap, Steamed Green Beans, Mandarin Oranges, Frozen Juice Bar, Milk.
    Wednesday - Frito Pie, Buttery Corn, Fresh Apple Slices, Cinnamon Roll, Popsicle, Milk.
