Gateway of Chaos

MALVERN - If you somehow missed the screams, good times and family fun last year, Malvern’s Gateway of Chaos haunted house attraction will open Oct. 2, at just $5 a ticket with a can of food, or $7 without. ‘It’s such a great way to involve so many levels of the community, while fundraising for an incredible cause, and creating tourism and economic development for Mills County’ said Spencer Terry, Gateway of Chaos Director. The haunt’s first benefactor, Malvern Trust and Saving Bank, signed on recently without reservation after seeing the large impact their marketing dollars had last year. ‘We’re excited to have Malvern Trust and Savings Bank join our donors. They give in so many ways throughout the year, but having them as a benefactor is a unique opportunity’ said Stacy Means, President of the Malvern Area Betterment Association, a local nonprofit, which proceeds go to. Other sponsors can be found by visiting www.gatewayofchaos.com, where additional information can also be found. Sponsorships are still available ranging from $50-$3,000, but the deadline is closing in quickly to be added to their posters, tickets and other print materials. Gateway of Chaos will be open every Saturday in October. Flashlight tours with no actors will also be offered Oct. 9 and 30 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Adults and youth are welcome to attend! They’ve lined up over 30 full time volunteers and will begin construction in the coming weeks. “We’ve redesigned the entire haunt to be smaller in size, allowing us ample opportunities for scares in addition to the high end props and pneumatics we’ve created this year. Trust us, this year will be even better than the last” Terry added.
