East Mills 42,
Heartland Christian 29

Kassidy Croghan and Alex Knop combined for 30 points for East Mills in a 42-29 victory over Heartland Christian last Tuesday in Malvern.

East Mills opened the game on a 19-2 run and never led the Eagles cut it closer than double-figures the rest of the way.

“Getting off to the fast start was important for us to build some confidence and momentum,” said East Mills Coach Blair Holman. “I was hoping we would have kept our foot on the gas pedal. I let them back in the game when we got complacent. Defensively, we did a good job of keeping them in front of us and executed pretty well in transition offensively.”

Knop scored 16 points and Croghan added 14.
