Council approves swimming rates for Glenwood Aquatic Center

The Glenwood City Council has approved rates for the 2018 swimming season at the Glenwood Aquatic Center.

The following rates were approved in a resolution passed by the city council at its regular meeting Tuesday, March 27:

Season Passes: Students (age 5-17), $75; Adults (18 and older), $100; Senior Citizen (62 and older), $65; Household / Family Pass, $150 (includes up to four people residing at same address - maximum of two adults, $10 for each additional person, nanny or babysitter can be added for $30); active members of the Mills County YMCA receive $10 discount off single pass and $15 off family pass; Military (active or retired) receive $10 off a single or family pass and $1 off daily admission.

Single Day Admission: Adults, $5; Senior Citizens, $3; Students, $3; Children under age of 4, no charge.

Daily Adult Swim (noon - 1 p.m., M-F): Adults only (age 18 and older), $2 (free for YMCA members).

Sunday Family Fun Day: Every Sunday a family of up to 6 members can swim for $15.

Party Rentals: Semi -private (two hours while facility still open to public), $125 for 1-15 people and $150 for 16-25 people.

Private Parties (8 - 9:30 p.m.): 1-25 people, $200; 26-50 people, $250; over 50 people, $300.
