Bennie Frank Anderson, age 94, of Pacific Junction

Bennie Frank Anderson, age 94, of Pacific Junction, died at his home on Oct. 31, 2009.  Memorial services and visitation will be today (Wednesday) from 6 to 7 p.m. at Full Faith Church in Pacific Junction. Pastor Howard Green will officiate with burial at a later date.

    He was born to Thomas Frank and Stella Ruth (Ames) Anderson on Jan. 1, 1915, in Big Springs, Texas. Mr. Anderson married Shirley Smith on Sept. 19, 1987 in Lexington, Mo. Prior to retirement he was a cement finisher and carpenter and was a member of the Union Hall in Omaha. He was of the Baptist Faith.

    Preceding him in death were his parents and three brothers, Floyd, Clovis and Robert Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Anderson of Pacific Junction; sons, Bennie Lee Anderson of Coahoma, Texas; James Anderson of Ray City, Ga.; Skeeter Anderson of Gilma, Texas; daughter, Zefer Anderson of California; step-daughter, Annette Acox of Council Bluffs; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

    A memorial fund has been established. Peterson Mortuary of Glenwood is in charge of arrangements.
