Stanton gets fourth straight win over Knights

    The fourth time wasn’t the charm for Fremont-Mills volleyball team.
    Stanton got 14 kills from Carmen Subbert and hit .441 as a team in a fourth straight victory over the Knights this season in Tuesday’s 25-14, 25-11, 25-13 win in the Class 1A, Region 2 quarterfinals.
    The Knights (18-10) hit just .159 in the loss, finishing with 18 kills. Taryn Williams led the way with 10 kills and Macy Williams added three. Macy Williams also pitched in three aces.
    Kendal Fichter keyed the offense with 15 set assists and also added 12 digs.
