        Ryan Everett Curts, Carson - defendant, admits violation of probation on original charge of possession of a controlled substance, sentence of 28 days in county jail imposed, ordered to pay court costs and fees.
        Shawn W.C. Hazel, Omaha - driving a motor vehicle with a suspended license, pleaded guilty, ordered to pay $25 fine, court costs and fees.

  • Barcode Technology On Election Day

    Primary election voters residing in the city of Glenwood and Glenwood Township will have the opportunity to take part in a new electronic check-in process when they go to the polls June 5.

         Mills County is one of 55 counties in Iowa to implement a bar code scanning process designed to improve the election check-in process. Precinct Atlas is the name of the computer program established in Cerro Gordo County in north central Iowa. The program is the first of its kind in the country and has received positive reviews.

  • New Bids Save City $10,000

          Pinnacle Construction will serve as the city of Glenwood's general contractor for the first phase of the renovation project at the new City Hall after all, but the Glenwood-based company will be paid about $10,000 less than originally anticipated.

  • City Delinquent Publishing Meeting Minutes

    The city of Glenwood has violated state law by not publishing minutes from its city council meetings in a timely manner, a manager for the Iowa State Auditor’s Office and a representative of the Iowa Newspaper Association Legal Hot Line have confirmed.

        The regular meeting of the Wabash Wranglers was called to order on April 29, 2012, by our president Hannah Sorenson. We first prepared the meal for the Loess Hills Estates residents before our meeting so we could serve it after our meeting.
