East Mills’ Logan Currin threw for a career-high 289 yards and four touchdowns while the Wolverine defense held Riverside to just 30 yards rushing in a 41-7, Class A District 9 football victory Friday.
“We knew this would be a physical, athletic team and kids wanted to come out and make sure we made a statement early,” said East Mills coach Andy Irwin.
With the Bulldogs determined to slow the Wolverines’ running game, they loaded the box. Currin, the East Mills signal-caller, was ready.
