Incidents
    May 15 – Glenwood Senior Center reported a burglary and criminal mischief.
    May 15 – Glenwood Public Library reported an attempted burglary and criminal mischief.

Accidents
    May 14 - A vehicle driven by Karen Callaway of Pacific Junction was turning right into the McDonald’s parking lot when a second car, driven by Susanna Weber of Glenwood rear-ended Callaway’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.
    May 16 – A hit-and-run driver struck a stoplight at Sharp and Vine Street. After investigating, officers were led to a vehicle owned by Clifford Stoppel at the Hillside Village Apartments. When confronted by officers, Stoppel was walking along the sidewalk with an open bottle of liquor. Stoppel said he had not been drinking prior to driving his vehicle but had “five or six” shots of liquor only after arriving at the apartment complex of a friend. After administering a Breathalyzer, Stoppel registered a blood alcohol level of .168. Stoppel was arrested for public intoxication and cited for striking a fixed object and for having no motor vehicle insurance.
    May 16 – A vehicle driven by Ted Wilson of Malvern was northbound on Locust Street attempting to make a left turn when he turned into the path of an approaching vehicle driven by Tyler Heiman of Topeka, Kan. Heiman did not have time to stop and struck Wilson’s vehicle broadside. No injuries were reported.
