Early voting continues at county auditor’s office

Early voting for Tuesday’s general election is continuing to take place in the Mills  County Courthouse. Voters can cast their early ballots at the Mills County Auditor’s Office  Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Monday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The office will also be open for voting on Saturday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

The last day to mail out and request an absentee ballot will be Friday, Nov. 4, at 5 p.m. and all ballots being mailed back to the auditor’s office must be postmarked and mailed no later than Monday, Nov. 7, in order to be counted in the canvass of votes on Nov. 15.

On Election Day (Tuesday) polls across Mills County and the state of Iowa will be open from 7 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Residents may also go to the Mills County website at www.millscoia.us  to download forms and to print out or look at the sample general election ballots for individual voting precincts.
