UPDATE: Subway Restaurant Robbery

The Glenwood Police Department is continuing its investigation into the Saturday evening robbery of the Subway restaurant in Glenwood.

    Officers from the Glenwood Police Department and Mills County Sheriff’s Office responded to a robbery at Subway, located at 948 S. Locust St. in the Glenwood Plaza, around 7:50 p.m.
    Glenwood Police Sgt. Pat Martin said the robber walked into the restaurant, displayed a knife and demanded money. No customers were in the restaurant when the robbery occurred.
    The suspect was described as a white male approximately 6 feet tall and dressed in black.  He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. As of Tuesday morning, he remained at large.
    Police Chief Eric Johansen said the robbery remains under investigation and anyone with any information regarding the incident is encouraged to call the Glenwood Police Department at 527-4844.
