Rams sweep Shenandoah in Hawk-10 play

    The Glenwood volleyball team swept Shenandoah 25-20, 25-18 and 25-18 Hawkeye 10 Conference play last Tuesday.
     “Tonight was a great night for Glenwood Volleyball.  Freshman, junior varsity, and varsity all completed the night with wins,” said Glenwood coach Kara Huisman. “We did some great things and it is exciting to see us continue to improve.”
    Morgan Lucy led an aggressive Glenwood attack with 14 kills.
    Grace Newman and Ana VanScoy added eight digs each.
    Erika Schwanke fished with 10 assists and McKenna Henze 14 assists
 Breanna VanNess 11-12 serving with 3 aces
    Glenwood's record is now 6-4 overall and 1-2 conference.

Rams 4-1 at
Shenandoah tourney
    The Glenwood volleyball team went 4-1 at the Shenandoah Tournament on Sept. 11.
    The Rams defeated Corning 25-15, 25-11, South Page 21-7, 21-10, Creston 21-15, 16-21, 16-14 and Lenox 21-8, 21-3 before falling to Bedford 25-20, 25-27 and 6-15.
    Morgan Lucy led the Glenwood attack with 41 kills and 21 blocks in the five matches. Lucy had a tournament-high 13 kills in the loss to Bedford.
    McKenna Henze recorded 50 assists in the tournament and Abby Schultz had 23 digs.
