  • Creston gets defensive in win...

        A tough Creston defensive effort limited Glenwood to just 193 total yards in a 14-0 loss on Friday at Ram Memorial Field.

  • Rams get pair of Hawk-10 wins

        Emily Blum smacked 11 kills and Grace Newman six for Glenwood in a 25-14, 25-16, 25-23 sweep of Denison on Thursday.
        As a team, the Rams (13-12 overall, 3-4 in the Hawkeye 10 Conference) had 23 kills in the win.

  • Rams 3-2 at Tri-Center...

        The Glenwood volleyball team placed third at the Tri-Center Invitational on Saturday.
        Glenwood finished the day with a 3-2 record, recording wins over A-H-S-T 21-17, 21-8, Adair-Casey  21-16, 21-14 and Riverside  21-11, 21-16. The Rams dropped decisions to Red Oak 14-21, 19-21 and the host Tigers 23-21, 14-21, 11-21
        "This was a good tournament for us,” said Glenwood coach Maria Jacobus.
        Emily Blum and Bailey Starner were named to the all-tournament team

  • Underwood rallies from 19 down...

        Underwood battled back from 19-0 against East Mills to score 28 unanswered points in a 28-19 victory over the Wolverines on Friday.
        East Mills (3-3 overall, 2-2 in the district) took advantage of three Underwood turnovers in the first half to build its lead. All three Eagle turnovers led to Wolverines scores.
        Caleb Barney got East Mills on the board early in the second quarter, scoring on an 88-yard run.

  • Glenwood boys second, girls...

        The Glenwood boys placed second while the girls were fifth at the Shenandoah Invitational Cross Country Meet on Thursday.
        The boys were edged by the host Class 3A No. 10 Mustangs 31-42 in the team standings.

  • Cowboys end Knights’ streak

        SIDNEY - All streaks eventually come to an end.
        The Fremont-Mills football teams’ streak came to an end on fourth down in Sidney on Friday.

  • Homecoming Hammerin’

        Turning in what coach Cory Faust called their most complete performance of the season, the Glenwood Rams rolled to a 35-15 homecoming victory over Sergeant Bluff – Luton Friday night at Ram Memorial Field.

     The win improved the Rams’ record to 2-4 on the season while Sergeant Bluff – Luton fell to 0-6.

  • Knights face Sidney in District...

    If undefeated Fremont-Mills is to stay that way they will have to win on Sidney’s home field Friday night.

    The Knights (5-0), the defending state champions, have been largely unchallenged in averaging 58.8 points and 387 yards of offensive in their unblemished start. All that seemingly stands in the way of the Knights achieving their third straight undefeated regular season is Sidney, F-M’s Eight-Man, District 8 opponent Friday night.

  • Fremont-Mills rushes for 404...

        Fremont-Mills scored on it’s first three possessions while its defense held Stanton to just 28 total yards in the first quarter of a  54-12 victory on Friday in Eight-Man, District 8 football.

  • Harlan hands Glenwood fourth...

        Harlan ran back three kickoff returns for touchdowns and Glenwood nearly matched them with two kickoff returns of their own, but it was the Cyclones who got the win in a 51-23 victory over the Rams on Friday in Harlan.
        The loss was the Rams’ fourth straight after a season-opening win over Red Oak.
