Angie Winquist officially began her duties last week as Glenwood’s city clerk.
Winquist was hired for the position in August and will replace Judith Groves, who will remain in the office as a deputy clerk.
“I know I have a lot to learn, but I think it’s a really good fit with my background,” Winquist said.
Winquist is a native Iowan who has lived in Mills County since 1983. Her husband, Stan, is a longtime industrial arts faculty member at Glenwood Community High School.
