TABOR - The city of Council Bluffs likes to refer to itself as Iowa’s Leading Edge, but when it comes to state-of-the-art technology, the big city has nothing on Tabor.
Earlier this month, Tabor became the first city in southwest Iowa to offer its residents wireless Internet technology.
The city-wide WiFi network was put into place by Nebraska-based Efanz, Inc. The network utilizes small radio transmitters to broadcast high-speed Internet signals through the air. The transmitters are strategically placed to provide service throughout the community.
