The Glenwood baseball team stayed alive in the Hawkeye 10 Conference baseball title race with a split with Kuemper Catholic on Saturday in Carroll.
The Rams (22-6 overall, 15-2 in the conference) dropped a 5-1 decision in game one and bounced back in the nightcap with a 15-4 victory.
In game one, with a conference title potentially on the line for the Knights (22-6 overall, 16-2 in the conference) as well, Glenwood coach Bret Elam suspected his team would face the Knights’ ace in Chris Halbur (5-0).
