F-M takes third at Corner tournament

If you’d have told Fremont-Mills coach Steve Raymond his team would miss 17 free throws in the fourth quarter, he would not have given his team a betting chance of winning.

Good thing Raymond isn’t a gambling man.

The Knights did in fact make just 3-of-17 free throws in the final frame, allowing East Mills to trim a 16 point lead down to three in the waning minutes .Raymond’s squad hung on late in a 48-44 victory in the Corner Conference tournament third place game in Malvern.
