Rams fall in district heartbreaker

The Glenwood baseball team learned a hard lesson in life Friday.

When given opportunities – in life or on the baseball diamond – it’s crucial to take advantage of them.

The Rams stranded six runners on base, twice failing to score with a runner on third base and one out and never found their rhythm offensively in a 2-1 loss to Denison  the Class 3A, District 16 post-season opener.

The loss for the Rams was the first to the Monarchs after sweeping a double-header earlier this season.
